Jisp Scan & Save is a shoppers app that gives users exclusive in-store discounts by scanning product barcodes via mobile. Once a user scans a participating product’s barcode, a discount voucher is loaded into their app wallet. They then redeem the voucher at the till to receive the discount instantly in-store. Every voucher redeemed earns a small reward, for example 5p per redemption, which accumulates until the user unlocks a £2.50 voucher to spend in-store.

 

In my role I was responsible for continuously improving the user interface and experience of the app, this included introducing new features such as sponsored products and recommended products, refining the menu/navigation and improving the order-history screen, as well as developing strategies to increase the number of users who enabled push notifications for the app.
